GUNS N' ROSES, TOOL, METALLICA Among Artists On Rolling Stone's Top 100 Albums List

GUNS N' ROSES' Appetite For Destruction, TOOL's Aenima, METALLICA's self-titled "black" album, BLACK SABBATH's Paranoid and AC/DC's Back In Black were among the albums chosen by the readers of Rolling Stone magazine as the 100 greatest rock and pop records of all time.

The following are the heavy metal/hard rock releases that made Rolling Stone's "The Readers' 100" list (as it appears in issue 907, dated October 17, 2002):
